Competent Appraisal Reviews with JM Real Estate Service

Sometimes - after an appraisal report is submitted - a new appraiser may be asked complete appraisal review. This is a basically a second opinion of the original appraisal, done by an appraiser with no connection to the original appraiser of report. 

 An appraisal review should confirm whether the original appraisal is suitable for the transaction, the risk inherent in the transaction and whether the actions by which the real estate valuation was acquired ensures independence and quality. In addition, the new appraiser will confirm if the original appraisal complied with the letter of engagement (the initial appraisal order), which gives an account of the range of the appraisal assignment.
